I started to listen to Tori in May of 1998, w/ the start of a new local radio station, which played "Silent All These Years" and "Spark." My interest was piqued.
So, I then recieved the "Crucify" single, which I nearly wore out. My favorite song on there was "Smells Like Teen Spirit," her remake of the Nirvana version. I was then fortunate enough to recieve "Little Earthquakes," "Boys For Pele," and "From the Choirgirl Hotel," her first, third and fourth albums. I also have the "Spark" single with "Purple People" on it, and the "Cornflake Girl" single.
To me, Tori is JUST what this world needs. She's got the boldness to fae eminent issues, w/ a voice so enchanting, it feels religious. Hey, she does have enough guilt to start her own religion. She helps me to gain perspective on things, and I can easily loose myself in her music. She is definately my favorite musical artist, by far.
She inspires me to do many things, I feel that ever since I began listening to her, i have discovered myself more and more each day. Also, the more I listen to her, the more she grows on me, I find myself understanding the lyrics and relating to them. Altough her songs are elliptical in verse, they speak truth.
