Music

My tastes in music, as in all things, are eclectic. I'll listen to almost anything from
Celtic traditional, through classical (I LOVE Bach), swing, rock 'n' roll (50s/60s ...
the good stuff!), right up to the music of today.

Literature

Reading is one of my passions !! I'll read almost anything and, even if I don't like it,
I will usually persevere to the end. My preferred genres are historical, science-fiction,
and mystery/thriller. My favourite authors include Anne McCaffrey, Ayn Rand, John Grisham,
M M Kaye, Richard Herman Jnr, Jane Austen, Robert Heinlein, Mary Higgins Clark, Shakespeare,
*takes a deep breath* Maeve Binchy, Stephen Baxter, Agatha Christie and many more. I also enjoy
reading other than fiction, especially craft books, Wicca books, design books, egyptology, and mythology.

Movies

I was introduced to the delights of cinema by my father as a small child and have been hooked
ever since. I remember many a fond weekend afternoon watching old cowboy movies sitting next
to me Da. Even now, I still have a preference for the older movies, the classics with
Jimmy Stewart, Grace Kelly, Bing Crosby, John Wayne, Frank Sinatra and Errol Flynn (what a hunk!)
... ohh, and I have been told I HAVE to add Cary Grant to my list *LOL*. My all time favourite movie
would have to be Rear Window, the original Alfred Hitchcock Version, followed a close second by the
Errol Flynn version of The Adventures of Robin Hood. I don't have a preferred genre in films, I'll
watch anything that appeals ... drama, thriller, comedy, action, science fiction, western ...
you name it, I'll probably watch it.
