Weston is 2 miles from Southampton City Centre. This picture is of Southampton water, about 5 mins walk from my house, it leads from the docks into The Solent and joins the English Channel

In the 19th century, Abbey House in Netley, was a school for young ladies. One of these young ladies was "Dame Barbara Cartland" (step grandmother of the late Diana, Princess of Wales) It has been a Nursing Home since 1984. I`ve worked here since 1985.
