I thought I had it all planned out this life of mine...
Then fate stepped in, and gave me a new mountain to climb.
Standing alone and frightened, I beheld this mountain high...
My eyes searching upwards, the apex reaching the sky.
The beauty before me made my heart pound...
But, accepting this challenge made me wonder if my judgement was sound.
Then I heard a soft voice whisper my name...
It sounded like music, and my fears it tamed.
I glanced over my shoulder and smiling eyes I did see...
With love's soft light shining on me.
The warmth from this light was such I had never seen...
The love so pure I felt it must be a dream.
"We'll climb this mountain together", I heard the Angel say...
"Facing each new challenge day by day."
Opening his arms he engulfed me within...
And I softly whispered, "Let our journey begin."
Awareness dawned, and suddenly I knew...
The "Mountain" was called "Love"...and the "Angel" is you!
