I haven't seen or heard from anyone that I graduated with since the day we walked off the field. I went to ODU and pursued
Nursing. After many tries, I grew up to be a copy editor. I am a single parent now and I run my own company. I would really

John, the effort is greatly appreciated, and, if you have not yet been offered assistance for Kellam (my alma mater) or Bayside
(my wife's) I will be glad to assist you. FYI: school colors for Kellam are Black and Gold, and the mascot is a knight on hor
eback...I left the area and came back only five years ago, so cannot give you a running history, but when I was there, there still
existed a "deadman's curve" on Holland that seemed to take away at least one student every year and from my parents' brand n
w home off of South Plaza (in Windsor Oaks) all the way to the school was basically farmland...occasionally a student's excuse
for being late in the morning was that ducks or cows were crossing the road, holding up traffic... re photos, I have none, nor do
I possess any of the yearbooks for Kellam...Bayside is another story, as my wife retains two or three from her time there that
may be of help to you...I note that the Bayside home page (as is typical) is rooted almost exclus vely in the here and now, while
I sense that your pages will cater more to alumni... About your questionaire: If it were me, I'd go ahead and include slots for
colleges attended, employment...if people don't want to answer, they can ignore them... Again, let me know if I can help, and if

After graduating from UVa, I drove nuclear submarines for the Navy and ended up in the Washington DC rat race for 10 years. Now I work at AOL, write fiction, and enjoy the desert southwest. I am excited about the opportunity to hear from some "old" classmates. I have managed to keep in touch with one in particular,
I married her. Roberta Baker was a classmate for two years while she was at Kellam and then transferred to PAH in 1975.
We ma ried in 1982 and have two wonderful children, Hannah and Grant. I am a CPA, specializing in tax, and have published

I graduated in 1986, and graduated from Virginia Wesleyan College in '96(yeah, I know, 10 years later...) Anyways, I have
lived in the area since graduation, and for those of you not living in the area, let me tell you, the area around Kellam has
complete y changed...Gone is the dirt parking lot, to make way for Ferrell Parkway. In fact, gone is the great area out front of
the school, where so many impromptu football games were played during lunch, it is now a parking lot. The school has been
remodeled, ne lockers, room numbers, etc. And the land around Kellam, along Holland Road is heavily developed. About me?
Well I am a radio announcer (they call us air talent now)for Z104, 2WD, and Lite FM. No full time air shift yet, still working on
that. Anyway, wou d love to hear from other alum from the Class of '86.

Hi! I just got your e-mail looking for information about KHS yesterday. Maybe this will help...our school colors are black,
gold, and white...school mascot the knight...address 2323 Holland Road...it's the third oldest high school in the district...name
after Floyd E. Kellam a prominant business man in the Princess Anne Road area...the reason, as far as i know, that our mascot
is the knight is the knight suit in our foyer originally from a Kellam...our school symbol/sign is the Kellam coat of arms...wel , i

i might be able to help you with. kellam just published an alumni directory last year which lists the names and place of graduates
