Musical
I have my grade X piano certificate and my grade V theory certificate from the Royal Conservatory of Music of Toronto. I played several instruments in high school stage, dixie and concert bands including piccolo, bassoon, french horn, trumpet and tenor saxaphone. I played some of these instruments in plays such as Fiddler On The Roof and Jesus Christ Superstar. I also play the guitar by ear.
I've been playing the Irish tin whistle since September 2003, and am now learning to play the Irish flute. I participate in traditional sessions in Montreal, as well as Toronto, Ottawa, Boston and Vermont.
Technical
I have taken programming courses in Basic, C and Fortran. I am very comfortable in a computer environment and have very good working knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office products. I have learned some HTML in creating this web page. I believe I have the logic and thinking abilities required to be an efficient programmer.
Languages
My first language is French. I am fully bilingual in French and English, and have a working knowledge of Spanish. I am currently studying Irish Gaelic.
Driving permits
I have a Québec permit for classes 5 and 6A (general and motorcycles). I have never been in any accidents and have a clean record since obtaining my first license in 1985.
