It's All About Tha Benjamins Baby!!!!
Well, I bet you're wonderin' what kind of person am I. My name is Tanya, and I was born on November 1st 1982....that would make me a Scorpio. My nicknames are Aaliyah *because I cut my hair like hers* and the Sassy Black Woman *after being referred as that during an improved skit about the Jerry Springer Show.....I acted as an audience member....you can imagine what happened*. I'm not the kind of girl that likes tight clothes.....dance music.....stuff like that. I'm more into R&B, Rap, Hip Hop, Motown, Reggae, Electronica and Funk....a bit of Alternative.....and I LUV British bands.....some of them....not all. I LOVE OASIS!!!!!! I LOVE THE MANIC STREET PREACHERS!!! THE BEATLES RULE!!!! I like to help people out when they're in trouble. I love ta hang out with my friends....and I love chattin with them on the phone.....and I especially love to go shopping with them too. Musical tastes....as I have mentioned before.....I don't like dance music, and I am into a wide range of music. I'm into Puff Daddy and The Family, Ma$e, Our Lady Peace, Brandy, Next, OASIS, The Smashing Pumpkins, U2......'n stuff. I'm big into the British music scene. My fave bands from the UK are, Oasis, Prodigy, The Seahorses, The Verve, Cornershop, Blur, Kula Shaker...bands like that. Music wise, I am not very picky about it. If a song has a good beat and phat lyrics, I'll listen to it. LL Cool J is one of my all time favourites....from the "Mama Said Knock You Out" days right to "Phenomenon". A lot of people make it a point to label people by tha music they listen to....but it shouldn't because I believe Music is a universal language no matter what it is. I think people should also be more open minded about music....I mean, if you don't like a song, an artist or even a certain type of music, don't make it a point to put it down all the time. A lot of people at my school always tell me they like my clothes.....I guess I'm good when it comes to fashion. My goal in life is to become a fashion designer. As I said before I'm not into the super tight clothes. You'll probably never see me in hip huggers.....so don't even think about tellin me to get into that stuff. I like to wear clothes that are comfortable. I'm into baggy clothes.....shirts that are double my size, pants that are easy to move in....stuff like that....and KHAKI'S!!!!!!! I'm really into brand name clothes. I have Nike warm-up suits, sweatshirts, t-shirts, earrings.....Adidas tear away trackies, shoes, golf shirts......Fila earrings, shoes, shirts, jackets.....Tommy Hilfiger shirts, cologne, purse, school bag, sweatshirts....Nautica shirts......Perry Ellis jacket. As you can see.....I really love brand name clothes. I'm still in tha process of gettin FUBU, DKNY stuff, and that cool leather jersey that Ma$e wears in the "Feels So Good" video. People always ask me if my parents are rich and if they buy me all of that stuff.....I'd like to set tha record straight right now. I work for all of the money to buy those clothes....and I work damn hard too.....and if anyone has a problem with that, too bad....I work for it so I have a right to wear it! I'm really into all of the fashion oriented shows like Fashion Television, Oh La La, and Fashion File. So Far.....I have decided to design a womens line, a mens line, a sportswear line....and who knows....I may even decide to throw in more. I would like to eventually have music groups wearing my clothes.....like Ma$e....Puff Daddy.....Immature.....groups like that. Who knows.....maybe I will. Ok....I bet some of you are wondering what I look like. Well, here we go! I'm 5'5" with dark reddish brown hair, and dark brown eyes.....although I may be getting green contacts soon. (You already know what I look like....you've seen my pic! I'm part Guyanese, East Indian, Portuguese, Venezuelan.....and part Brasilian. I've got a dark complexion......like I guess between a coffee and a chocolate hue. I guess I'm somewhere in between skinny and really chunky......bigger built with muscles.....I don't mean to brag....but my legs are really muscular. As you know....music, fashion and sports are my life. I play bass guitar and I sing. I've been told that my voice is very R&B/Soul oriented. I guess that's because I grew up listening to mostly those kinds of music. I love to wear jewellery too. I'm usually seen wearing a gold chain with a St. Christopher pendant, a pair of Nike earrings and a pair of Fila earrings (Well I usually 2 pairs of clear austrian crystal earrings since I lost one of my Nike earrings), a silver Gucci watch, and a few rings in silver, gold diamonds and crystals! My jewellery is my trademark I guess. People who don't know me always refer to me as "The chick with the Gucci", "That girl with the Nike and Fila earrings", or "The girl with all tha cool rings". I love to play around with the Oriental look and the Indian look. I love to wear sarees, bindi's, Chinese dresses, Asian inspired jewellery, tattoos written in Chinese (Ok...here are the tattoos that I wanna get....a dragon on my left thigh, a panther on the back of my shoulder, my name in Chinese written on my upper chest *get your mind out of the gutter boys! lol*), and I always do mehndi on my hands and feet. I am really into cosmetics. Another trademark of mine is my nails. I'm known for painting Union Jacks, the Guyana Flag, the Brasilian Flag, Tommy Hilfiger logos, Nike Swooshes, the Fila logo, and doing numerous variations of french manicures on my nails. I love glittery nail polish.....well to be honest.....I love nail polish no matter what color. I own over 300 different shades of nail polish.....for real. (Ask my brother about that....he always complains about my nails!!!) For eyeshadow.....I like dark smokey shades, light shimmery shades....and gold and silver. In lipstick....lip gloss is usually all I wear....but I love pink opalescent gloss lined with brown lip pencil, dark browns, gold, and shimmery shades of yellow, purple, green and blue. My main cosmetic suppliers are Revlon, Jerome Alexander and Club Monaco. The cosmetics are wicked and they have lots of shades to choose from. Now I bet you guys think I'm this girl who loves ONLY make-up and clothes......but yer wrong. I LOVE SPORTS! My fave sports are tennis, football (soccer), hockey, golf, volleyball, basketball......basically any sport is my fave. I'm constantly out of the house playing whatever sport......but usually I play football with my friends. Not only do I play sports but I love to watch them on tv too. Some sports teams I think rock are the Brasilian Football team (they'll win tha World Cup again), The Cleveland Indians, The Detroit Red Wings, The Vancouver Canucks, The Canadian Hockey Team, The Orlando Magic and The L.A.
