Well, it happened in
December
Back in 1993.
I was in a bar and drinkin' hard
When a man took a poke at me.
He said, "You're in my seat there, son,"
And I said, "I don't believe, but I..."
Then I turned my head,
But I shoulda been lookin' up instead,
'Cause beside me stood a redneck
Lookin' four feet down on me.
Well, he said his name was
Killer,
And I knew it was no lie,
'Cause I was starin' at his buckle,
And it just said, "Goodbye".
The next thing I remember, I was lyin' on the floor...
Then 911 Emergency,
Well, they came and took a look at me,
And said, "Son, you're gonna be history
If you don't walk out that door."
Well, I'm no Evander
Holyfield,
And Mike Tyson, no I ain't,
But I got Cherokee blood inside of me,
And the courage of a saint.
Well, I've been known to throw a punch or two,
And I've played dirty in my day,
And though Killer stands some ten feet tall,
And his body's like a solid wall,
Tonight that sucker's gonna fall,
I'm gonna make him pay.
Well, it was David and
Goliath,
But Goliath knew the game.
He had his buddies hold me
While he pounded on my brain.
The next thing I remember,
I was flyin' 'cross the room...
Then 911 Emergency,
Well, they came and took a look at me,
And said, "Son, you're gonna be history
If you don't get outta here soon."
(Instrumental)
Yeah, it was David and
Goliath,
But Goliath knew the game.
He had his buddies hold me
While he pounded on my brain.
The next thing I remember,
I was lyin' on the floor...
Then 911 Emergency,
Well, they came and took a look at me,
And said, "Son, you're gonna be history
If you don't walk out that door."
They said, "Son, you're gonna be history
If you don't walk out that door."
