Joining GeoCities/SouthBeach

By now you should be seeing in your screen something similar to the screen shot above. At this point, you are given the chance to choose the level of GeoCities membership you want. Each level of membership has its advantages and disadvantages so read the descriptions given in the page carefully.

3. After choosing the level of GeoCities membership you think is appropriate for yourself, click on the "Join" button at the bottom of the page.

4. Now you'll be asked to provide some basic pieces of information about yourself. Please make sure that you're providing accurate information in the form.

NOTE One of the questions in the form asks whether you would like your e-mail address to be submitted to us, the SouthBeach Community Leaders. We highly encourage you to select yes as your answer to this question so we would be able to send you a welcome letter, complete with tips on how to start building your GeoCities web site.

5. After filling out the form, you'll see a text box containing the GeoCities Content Guidelines, rules that tell you what you can and cannot do with your GeoCities web site. Make sure you understand the Content Guidelines before you click on the "I Agree" button.

6. At this point, as a new GeoCities member, you will be asked if you would be willing to receive several special offers.

7. After you have answered all the questions about the special offers made available to you, click the "Submit" button at the bottom of the screen.

Click on the "next" button to proceed with the rest of the tutorial.
