came to mind: Shoes. Almost every woman I know has a thing for
shoes. Perhaps not a blatantly sexual
thing for shoes, but they like shoes. They can talk about
shoes, in loving detail, for hours. Going shoe shopping
is a favored female activity. In short, shoes are cool,

believe all of my female friends are merely fashion
victims. Most women's shoes one would even want to wear
are, at best, uncomfortable. Many are
downright painful. Pinched toes, cramped arches,
rubbed heels. Teetering along on a pair of thin heels.
Why do we do this to ourselves? (...)

whenever I can. And I'm not alone, either. I am quite
certain I'm not the only woman in the world who responds
sexually to shoes, clothes, and many other classic fetish
items. This leads me to a highly unscientific and shocking
conclusion: Women lie to sex researchers, most
likely because they're too embarrassed to talk about
