SEASONS

Death, you may winter in my hot
pink need -- lie cool and blue
upon my bitter breast.

You may whisper Fall
beneath my feet,
in Summer sting

me with your rust red wind.
But with the purple storms of Spring,

I sing...
the blood-red stains upon my bed
the only trace of your dark and distant
visit...in my dream.
