If
you do these steps on a Template page (see the Themes page), you
only have to do this once.
Using
windows Notepad, open the 'color0.css' file (see the HiJack page).
You might want to print this file out. This is the Color Style Sheet for your theme. Note:
if you want the Vivid colors for the theme, use the 'color1.css' file.
Open
your Graphics Pallete page (see the HiJack page) in the FrontPage
Editor. Locate the page background image. Click your right mouse button on it, and open
the Image Properties folder. Highlight the image file name (if it is not already), then
copy the name to the clipboard (Ctrl-c).
Open
your page in the FrontPage Editor. Click your right mouse button anywhere on the page and
open the Page Properties folder.
In
the Page Properties folder, click on the Background Tab. Check the Background Image check
box. Then paste your background image file name (Shift-insert) into the Background Image
entry field.
In
the 'color0.css' file, locate the link color entry, for example:
a:link
{
color: rgb(0,102,0);
}
Then
in the Page Properties folder, in the Hyperlink drop down, select the Custom color. A
color selection dialog will open. In the bottom right, you will find entry fields for Red,
Green, and Blue (rgb). Fill in these fields with the numbers from the 'color0.css' file,
link color entry (example: red=0, green=102, blue=0). Then press the OK button to close
the dialog.
Repeat
the above steps to set the other page color options as follows
Page Property Color |
... | .css file section |
Hyperlink | . | a:link |
. | ||
Visited Hyperlink | . | a:visited |
. | ||
Active Hyperlink | . | a:active |
. | ||
Background | . | body: background-color |
. | ||
Text | . | body: color |
. |
Save
your page, and you are done.
