Ah, rules and regulations. Well, so you're thinking about being in the PREMIER Home Pages Web Ring? Well, read this and you'll find out if this ring is for you...

NO commercial sites. This is supposed to be a ring for personal home pages, we don't want to potentionally get sued by rival companies and besides... you lot get miles more hits than we do so we're jealous...

If you submit incorrect URL's, then your details are discarded straight away, so check the URL BEFORE you submit.

You must put the ring code that you get via e-mail (and also on the screen when you sign-up) on the web page URL that you submitted. We don't like it when it's hidden about 10 pages deep into the site and not on the web page URL that you submitted. The ring has to be nice and complete so that visitors can easily go through all the sites. Still, there may be exceptions... but don't count on it. If you don't bother to do this, don't bother applying. Once you have done this, e-mail the ringmaster Smoothy smoothyworld@hotmail.com and he'll put you into the ring, although you don't have to. You'll be let into the ring proper (so that the web ring code links work properly).

Make sure that the Web Ring code STAYS ON THE PAGE IT'S SUPPOSED TO. Don't put it there then a week later remove it. What's the point of applying for the ring if you're not going to display the code? How's anyone going to know you're part of the ring? Regular checks are made and sites WILL BE MOVED ONTO THE QUEUE if they don't comply with this (as several sites have found out). Y'see, when you're put onto the queue, you've got 28 days to respond, or the Web Ring will automatically discard you. So there.
