My Friends

This page is dedicated to my friends:

I'm sorry about the pictures not being all that great...they look better if you right click them and click view image...they get bigger. I was just trying to make it so the page would load more quickly...

Matt Berg: I met Matt my Freshman year of college. He's a good guy and also the father to my soon-to-be-born little baby. You can find out some more about him and his friends: This page links to his other pages. He's working on the one page right now, so it's unrefined, but you can check out his older, completed pages.

Sarah Cover: She is probably the most magical person I know. She taught me that giving a person a second (and third) chance can be the best decision a person can make. She's so much like me it's scary sometimes. Her favorite things, though, are those of a mystical, mythical, magical nature: dragons, faeries, castles, and the like. Anne McCaffrey is her favorite author. She has a huge collection of Beanie Babies and was collecting them before collecting them was a thing to do. She's a great stage manager-or at least was when I was around (I'm sure that hasn't changed!) She's into gaming, too, as I am. She's going to U of M and doesn't know what she wants to major in. I'll never forget TTE Tech crew, the zoo, or multiple trips to Caribou Coffee. She, unlike almost everyone else I know, is NOT a late-night person. She turns into a pumpkin...But everyone has their flaws! She's also my lamaze/labor partner and will be my baby's Godmother.

Sunil Sawani: He's one of the most fun people I know. His page, The Zebra Rainbow Show is nice, but it really needs to be updated. Let's see, what to say about Sunil??? He's so much fun to be around, and I think that's due in part to the fact that he's so unique. His tastes in music, clothes and such are all rather cool and pretty different, but not so different that we don't share things in common. He's got a great sense of humour and always makes me laugh when I need it most. He's a CE major at U of M right now and he's a junior this year. He likes listening to/creating music, that which involves computers, kicking my ass at Scrabble, eating spaghetti (especially in the forest) and he does like to party... He dislikes cats A LOT and he doesn't seem to like waking up before noon very much either... He and I can spend hours at Meijer and not be bored...No, really, we can!

Won Jun Chung: He's a sweet, caring, interesting guy. He holds a special place in my heart, as we were basically inseparable senior year. He's going to FSU which is in Tallahassee, Florida. He's better known as "that dirty Korean bastard" because pretty much everything he says is completely perverted. He has a sick and twisted mind...one of the qualities I admire most in him! He graduated Troy High a 16-year-old Summa Cum Laude with numerous honors and awards. H.O.R.D.E., Frankenmuth, the AP Biology picnic, and the parody picnic, as well as many late nights at Denny's were drastically improved by his presence. He has really messy handwriting, which came in handy during numerous AP English group essays. We once stared an essay with the following fragment: "Sex". We thought it was a good attention-getter. So did our teacher (Go Pavich!!!) His parents think I'm "Satan's Spawn" and so they don't like us to hang out... He's got an awesome page...it has pictures of me and my friends on it...GO THERE! Won's Page

Graham Weaver: He's quite an interesting (dare I say eccentric?) guy. He goes to Tech and majors in biology. We've done a lot together, even though we've only known eachother since the beginning of senior year. We've been to Niagara Falls, Canada (I'm surprised he didn't throw me or Laura in) for our Spring Break. We also travelled to Rochester, New York where we attended Bot Con '97-a Transformers convention that was more fun that one might imagine. He loves Transformers more than anyone I know. One of his senior pictures shows him holding one particular Transformer that turns into a gun. It's in gun-form and he's in a James Bond-ish pose. I met him on the AP biology trip where we had all sorts of fun. He's artistic, witty, and brutally honest. He also has a knack for breaking up 3-year long relationships. AHEM.

Chris Holt: Chris is a swell guy that I'm glad I met. He's been there for me with humour and compassion when I've needed him most, and for that I am very grateful. He's completely funny, very interesting, intelligent and kind and he's really good at doing vocal impersonations of people. He's also extremely artistically inclined and I've seen him act and heard him play the piano and I must say he's rather good. He gives the most interesting gifts...

Anita Marie S. Balocating: Annie is my big Caribou buddy. She and I are really good at making tentative plans to do stuff and not ever carrying them out. Her favorite poem is "The Applicant" by Sylvia Plath. It's mine too, as it was the one we worked on for the AP English poetry project senior year. YAY prosthetic body parts! She's at MSU right now double-majoring in Russian and English. It's kind of odd that she went to State considering so few THS folk did that. I still love her, though! Once we spent hours thinking Won was dead. We were really worried. When it turned out that he was alive, though, we wanted to kill him!

Rachanee Therakulsathit: : This girl has a lot going for her. She goes to MSU and is a really successful photographer. Not to mention she has a cool name that's all sorts of fun to say. She went to Athens (the other high school in Troy) and we met in Summer School between sophomore and junior years. We had this awesome teacher who let us make friendship bracelets instead of taking a final. Yay Mrs. K!

Amit "Master of Space and Time" Kenjale: A really cool guy who helped me become the person I am today. He was the first person who talked to/befriended me when I moved to Troy. Now he's going to Cal Tech because he wants to be an engineer. He was the founder of the Engineering Club at Troy High, even though they failed to recognize him for his numerous accomplishments and for his contributions to the school. That's okay, because he's awesome and he knows it! His drug of choice is caffeine. I spent many, many late nights at Denny's with him, consuming Coke after Coke or coffee after coffee. We'd always try to work on school stuff, but it never happened-we'd always converse about something completely unrelated. Amit likes muffins. He really, really likes muffins. I think it's unhealthy.

Other THS folk will be added once I get some pictures...

The above are my closest friends, and is not all-inclusive. If I didn't mention you, then you either suck, I forgot, or I didn't have room to include you.
