Above all, I'm just a kid. A pretty normal, average kid, with her own share of problems and rays of happiness. I have experienced a lot in my sixteen years - everything from suicidal pen pals to murdered schoolmates to important jobs to quotes in assorted periodicals. Life happens, and this is a window into the life of a "typical teenage girl."

One word I use a lot is "depressed." When I say people are depressed, I really just mean they're unhappy, sad, bummed, frustrated, and needing a good cheering up. I don't mean that they're clinically depressed or belong in an institution or something. If I meant that, I'd use clinical terms and go into depth as to why. I use "depressed" the old way, and I'm proud of it. Depressed, depressed, depressed. See? Perfectly normal. =P
