I am an Electronics Engineer working for a Swedish Telecom Mutinational called Ericsson in New Delhi, India.
I belong to a place called Fatehpur in the state of Uttar Pradesh(UP), but i did most of my schooling from Lucknow the capital city of UP. I did my graduation from the Zakir Hussain College of Engg&Tech, Aligarh in 1996.
After completing my graduation i worked for about an year in Tata Telecom Ltd. before joining the GSM operations Department of Ericsson in August 1997. Since then i've been here at Ericsson. The best thing that i like about my current job is that it involves a lot of travelling, and i really love travelling and visiting new places. I have travelled to many parts of India and abroad too courtesy my job but there are still a helluva lot of places that i want to visit. India is just too big for anyone to claim that he has seen all that there is to see here!
Another thing that my job allows me is plenty of spare time. Hey dont start thinking that i dont have to do any work at all! In fact when i am working on a project then its a REAL grind! But when i am not on a project then i have lots of spare time on my hand like right now! So now u know from where i found the time to create my homepage despite having a full time job!
Besides travelling I like to spend my time reading books and listening to music. My favourite authors are P.G.Wodehouse(I love his style!), Somerset Maugham, Oscar Wilde, Alexander Dumas, O'Henry, Stephen Leacock and Guy 'd Maupassant among the older authors and Jeffery Archer, Richard Bach, Scott Adams, James Clavell and Ayn Rand(I like her style of writing not her philosophy!) among the newer ones.
As far as music is concerned I like a mix really - country, rock, pop, dance, etc. in fact anything except Hard Rock! Among the bands/artists I like Bryan Adams,Bon Jovi, Meat Loaf, Sting, Peter Gabriel, Def Leppard, Bruce Sprinsteen, Dire Straits, Eagles (Rock); Boyzone, Phil Collins, Michael Bolton, Michael Learns to Rock, Billy Joel, Richard Marx, Whitney Houston, Celine Dion, George Michael, Aqua, (Pop); Vengaboyz, Sash, Enigma, Dario G, Lighthouse Family (Dance); Kenny Rogers, Shania Twain, Dan Seals, Garth Brooks, Don Williams (Country); Shaggy, Diana King, Big Mountain, Tracy Chapman (R&B/Reggae/Rap); and some older stuff like Doors, Queen, Bob Dylan, Carpenters and Harry Belafonte.
I am not too much of an athelete myself but I love watching sports. I love Cricket, Basket Ball, Soccer, Formula1 racing(I am a diehard fan of Michael Schumacher and in my opinion given the same car he can run rings round any driver on the circuit including Mika Hakkinen!!), Aussie rulz rugby and Tennis.
Hey have you ever heard of something called a stereogram or 5D art?? I am sure that you must have seen it sometime but never knew it by this name. A stereogram is a computer-generated image which if u view in a certain way "pops out" as if it were a Multi-Dimensional object. The transformation when it takes place for the first time, leaves the viewer surprised, sometimes astonished. I discovered stereograms in a book fair in Delhi last year and since then i've been hooked! In fact I like them so much that i've included a stereogram page here. On this page you will find some stereograms that i downloaded from the net and some amateurish stereograms made by me, and also some tips on how to view a stereogram.
