Sipadan Lodge |

| There are
many dive resorts at Sipadan Island (too many if you ask me). However, I personally find Sipadan Lodge to be the best in terms of value and
service. Among the pluses is the fact that the rooms are fully air-conditioned, with hot
water showers and clean toilet facilities. Besides these comforts, the cook is wonderful and we were provided with 5 hearty meals and snacks per day. Dive facilities are not the best on the island and boat access is at the mercy of the tides. However, the service is such that you will never have to worry about this problem. Dive equipment will be set up on the boat during low tides and all you have to do is get your ass on the boat. The resort is in a very secluded part of the island since its the last one going South down the island. Other activities include table tennis, darts and beach volleyball. The best part of the resort would have to be the wonderful dive masters. Thanks to Gilly, Lucy Mitsie and Matt. Hope to see you guys there on our next trip. |
