BLUE-LADY known as Blue or Pat was born in New Mexico, and was raised in the San Francisco Bay area. Moved to Fresno Calif. in Nov. of 1977 and will be moving again in Nov. of 1998 to Seattle Wa. Blue has 2 children, Katie (30) and Brian (29). Katie, Greg and grand daughter Skyler ( now 3 months ) live in Seattle. Brian lives and goes to college in Flagstaff Az. She got her first computer in 1978, her second, an Apple 11e in 1983 and finally graduated to Win 3.1 in 1995. Slowly had upgraded her system and now is using Win98. Her real life friends complain she spends way to much time on her puter. They just have no idea how much fun can be had. For the last year or so, had belonged to the local PC Users Group. Was the Program Review Cochairman and had just started teaching a Novice Win95 Class for members and friends of that group at the local CompUSA. As Flight Attendant in the U.S. Air Force, she was stationed in Florida and Charleston S. Carolina. Her runs were Central and South America, North Africa, Saudi Arabia, Bermuda and the Azores in the Atlantic Ocean. After her tour of duty she came back to Calif., married and started her family. She has been single for the last 6 years. Her interests are Computers of course, reading, photography, just learning new things meeting new people. Loves to go sight seeing, but isn't too interested in the tourist stuff. Now she feels her day isn't complete unless she has had a chance to say hello to the many friends she has made on the Internet. Summer of 1997 she went on a July 4th weekend camp out in Climax Springs Missouri, with people from the #40-friends channel on DalNet. There were about 38-39 friends and family representing the four corners of the USA plus Canada, Wales in the UK, and Australia. Has been in #50something for almost a year and a half and now considers many there her second family. Pat just retired from the work force and is starting a new carrier. She is going to be a Nanny for Skyler.. that new granddaughter. But of course will look for a PC Users group ASAP after getting settled in. |
