Think I'll be different and not start at the beginning. I'll start at the present, October 1998. My nick, Legend comes from the factI drive an Accura Legend, simple as that. There has been a rumour circulating (I started it, hehe) that I am really Clint Eastwood and thus "Legend".... but not true. Semi-retired, I spend part of the year in Santa Rosa and the winterPalm Desert, California. I have six children. The youngest Laura is a senior at U.C. Berkeley and will enter law school next year. My youngest son is Post Graduate at Cal Poly and will start teaching High School science in 1999. My favourite things are my children, writing, people watching, informed conversation with positive people and computer time. When I talk about computers then I have to talk about 50 Something 'cause they sorta' go together. For people that live alone a computer is essential and 50 something is an essential address, a perfect remedy for the lonelies. I feel like I'm among no agenda friends when I'm on line with the 50's guys and gals. Oh yes, my other area of interest is of course the fair sex. However I have three ex wives that I didn't always consider fair, hmmm ex wives are perhaps excluded as part of the fair sex and thus we avoid an oxymoron. In truth I have a good relationship with all three of them. One of my sons, ignoring my reluctance, gave me a computer last January and it didn't take long to fall happy victim to a 3 hour a day habit. Like the American Express Card...I never leave home without my Lap Top. Now the beginning which I saved for the end. Born 50 and then some years ago and raised in Northern California I suffered from wanderlust and left home at 16. From then to now has involved the merchant Marine, 2 years in the Marine Corps, College but no degree, home construction, Real Estate sales and finally Palm Desert California October, 1998.
