SoftJazz AKA Ron Merkel Born Dec 16, 1936 Mt. Kisco N.Y. - Old but not dead. Married (40th anniversary this Oct.) with 5 children, 3 girls and 2 boys. 2 of the girls are married - no grandchildren as of yet. Attended University of Arizona - Electronics Engineer and have worked for Lockheed at NASA near Houston TX for the past 27 years. Have been involved with all sorts of things that have flown in space. One I particularly liked was the Electronic Still Camera which now flies on all space missions. Been on IRC for 5 years and finally gravitated to #50Something - a great place to be. The ladies are just great. |
