Chris is on the new cover of Furia magazine talkin' about Mr. Q and how he feels the Selena movie did not portray him the way he would've liked. We are tryin' to get Selena number one all over the net again! To vote for her over the backstreet boys and nysnc and all them, please go to Free Vote and vote. You can vote up to 5 times a day. In the meanwhile, on the other poll, Todolatino Selena is waaay in the lead! Good job guys! Also, thank u Melissa for giving me an award! I received, finally , the Q-Fan Club stuff! It is absolutlety beautiful! There's a beautiful t-shirt that looks sort of like it was airbrushed of Selena's upper body. Her hair is down and curly and she is wearin' like a pink cardigan w/a black undershirt. Then the button is the same thing. IT's soooooo pretty. IT's definatly worth the 22 bucks jus for the shirt! (Mine wasn't that much tho cuz it was jus' a renewal). Then they gave u a Q Productions pencil, and of course the same ol' membership card. I will try to get a scan up asap. (It'll be hard cuz I don't have a scanner.)

Selena is on the cover of the latest edition of Tv Y Novelas, finally! :O) Also, there is a one page article of her in the Entertainment Weekly magazine (last page) for this week. It has a guy with a sword on the front cover. They will show a tribute to Selena on sunday on the show "Quiero Ser Una Estrella". Check your local listings! AB's new cd came out today! Which is being known as "Super Tejano Tuesday" because along with Los Kumbia's Kings cd the following are being released: Emilio, with "10th Aniversario: Mi Primer Amor" and Bobby Pulido's "El Cazador." Also hitting stores is "Inspiracíon," by the San Antonio group Texas Latino. You can order this cd by going to Mis Cosas And clicking under the Selena Anthology, and under the search, type in Quintanilla! I haven't checked my local stores yet, but I will. The plans for La Reina's anniversary have been updated. Click here for more info on the Galavision special that should be airing on March 31, 1999. Also, the Say What? (quotes) section has been updated with AB now comparing him and his group to the Backstreet Boys! Ay, boy, makeup your mind! Lol, first Puffy, now them? I also have a quote of him describing the new cd as what Selena y Los Dinos would have enventually gotten to, (soundwise) which wouldn've sounded excellent. We you Selena!! Details Of The New Cd!!I got the new cd from a store here in NJ. :) 3 days early! Here's the juice on the insides and everything, if ya wanna be surprised, don't read on! :o) Ok. THE COVER~ if you've been to the front page of this site or seen the commercial for the cd, you've seen the cover. It has the picture, which ironically is the same pic that's on the logo for my site! Where her hair is up in a bun of some sort, and she has her hands on her face. THE BACK~ The back of the cd has a picture of Selena from the Furia Awards on stage singing. It only shows her though and the rest blends into the lightish brown coloring of the cover. She has her hair half up and half down and it's somewhat curly, and she;s wearing that pretty tan skirt with the frillys in front with the black shirt (longsleeve). THE CD~ It's in the cd player right now, lol, but it was the same tanish color of the cover and it has a whitish rose on it, somewhat similiar to the "soundtrack" rose, but not really. THe INSERT~ well, the picture that you see when you first open the cd, is almost the same as the cover of the cd, except she has her hands on her face in a differnt way. I was actually, kind disappointed with the insert part though. :( It's kinda flimsy, I mean, one spill of anything, and it would probaly be ruined. There aren't any pictures or anything special inside, the last part of the insert has somewhat of an advertisement for all her cds that were done on emi latin, with pictures of them, "Live, Amor Prohibido, DOY, The Soundtrack and the ANthology". THE PIN~Where's the pin you ask? Well, you know that little space of the cd case, the part where it opens you know? The skinny thingy, I don't know how to explain it. :o/ But, anyway, they have like a black cushiony thing there and the pin is in the middle. IT's a straight back pin, it has her name looking like the stem of the rose, and then the bulb is at the top @)-Selena->--- somewhat like that. It's purty, her name is written in cursive. THE MUSIC~Everything is pretty much the same except NO ME QUEDA MAS, it's the original version!!! not the one from the Amor Prohbidio album. It's the one that if you ever seen her on "Cristina" where she had her hair up really high and was wearing the white shirt with vest, well, it's that version. Almost the same as the other one, except the beats a TINY bit different, and she takes her breaths at different parts of the song! :)

I am in the process of making a page full of Selena magazines. Since I recently became a collector myself of Selena magazines, I thought this should be interesting to see what's out there. There are already 13 magazines (with cover pictures) on the page, but it will not be ready until a few days. I'll keep you posted! :o)

The first Magazine around the anniversary of La Reina's death is here. People En Espanol has about a 3 page article on the Selena Museum in Corpus Christi. This is not that rare of a magazine to find in the US as say, Furia. My local blockbuster music has people en espanol, actually so does my walmart. Just check it out!!

Mis Cosas has been updated. I got the new Cristina magazine today, it says that Chris' album will be out in April. Maybe we can rely more on Hollywood Records than Q-Productions to get his record out on time!!! :o)

Some News on the Selena Porcelain Dolls available thru Source Tribute. The Grammy Doll is no longer available. :O( I was sad too I know, but the En Concierto Doll is beautiful. The third edition of the dall called "Como La Flor" will be available in late March or early April. (I talked to them today!) Also, I haven't heard anything else on the cd except that it's been cancelled?!? I don't know if it is true, I will find out though. Also, Mis Cosas was updated.

Selena's sister Suzzette is featured in January's edition of Latina Magazine. "Selena's Sister, Sigue Su Sueno" (continues her dream). It's about a 3 page article. Nothing big, and there arent any pictures of Selena. Suzie looks really good tho. She finally did something with her eyebrows which brightens up her face alot!!! They also show a picture of Suzie with her son. He's soooo cute. :o)
