We celebrate Dolphin Day every year on April 2nd. What is Dolphin Day, you ask? Well, it originated when Casey and Sam used to sit next to their friend Kate at lunch in their sophomore year. One day when Sam was very hyper, she was inquiring Kate as to what each charm on her bracelet meant. Kate explained that the Christmas tree was for Christmas, the shamrock was for St. Patrick's Day, and so on through all the holidays. Then Sam saw a dolphin and got confused. "Why's there a dolphin?! Is there a Dolphin Day?!" she exclamied. "Now you know we have to have a holiday called Dolphin Day," Casey said. "When should it be?" Without a moment's hesitation, Sam blurted out "April 2nd." And so Dolphin Day came to be.

Dolphin Day 2001
And now for the goings-on of April 2nd, 2001. Today is a Monday, and all our classmates are in school... and we are NOT! WOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! Yes, Casey and Sam are skippin', just to celebrate the greatness of dolphins, and the fact that Mulder returned last night! Sam got Casey a stuffed dolphin and a dolphin magnet in celebration. (Casey was unaware we were doing gifts, otherwise she would've got Sam something) We've done nothing today or last night but watch the X-Files and work on our page. It has actually been quite fun. Another tradition of Dolphin Day, or D-Day as we like to call it, is incidently watching the X-Files! Last year we watched it with Kate. This year we couldn't seem to get a hold of Kate. If Kate is reading this, HAPPY DOLPHIN DAY!!! :D
