1. Any new member wishing to participate in an open training seminar workshop can do so without formal commitment to the SWT Team.
  2. Training seminars are open to any athlete regardless of affiliation to any         Association or Team.
  3. If the athlete is a member of another Team, their commitment is first and      foremost to that Team.
  4. Athletes commit to payment of training fees at each session attended.  Training fee levels can be obtained from SWTT Treasurer.
  5. Athletes will be provided with their own training programme to assist learning and monitor development.  This will be reviewed by the trainer on a regular    basis and additional goals will be set as necessary.
  6. The current training venue is at the YMCA Kitto Centre, Honicknowle Lane,    Plymouth, Devon.  Training sessions are normally held once a month on a   Sunday between 10am and 4pm.  (Dependant on training level and number of attendees, session times may vary).

In order to protect the interests of the team, its members and any team to which the athlete is associated, athletes wishing to participate in competition work with the SWTT should note the following:

  1. In the event of difficulties caused by 3 above, the athlete will contact the SWTT Team Trainer immediately so that the situation can be overcome.
  2. If, for any reason, an athlete is unable to attend a session, then half the fee is payable to retain their membership.  Of course, in the case of extreme            circumstances, (medical, annual holiday or perhaps in the case of financial hardship), the athlete should approach the Chairman, who will treat the situation at his/her discretion.
  3. Athletes may be required to go through a selection process before being chosen for any teamwork.
  4. Athletes wishing to participate in competition work will be required to attend a minimum number or training workshops.  (This will be set and reviewed by the Management Committee).
  5. In the event of certain competitions requiring membership to an Association, the athlete will pay the registration fee required.
  6. The Parent/Club Leader of all athletes automatically becomes a member of the Management Committee in order to try and maintain harmony throughout.
  7. The athlete will strive to raise sponsorship for the Team and be willing to       partake in any fund raising events organised by the Committee.
  8. As with any Team, communication is an essential matter and we ask that all  athletes contact the Trainer or any Committee Member with any concerns at any time.  There is always someone willing to listen.
  9. Athletes, their Club Leaders and parents are requested to promote the Team and its aims as much as possible and encourage and welcome new            membership from any source at all times.
  10. The Management Committee will always endeavour to ensure that dates and events should not "clash" with other Troupes/Associations commitments.     However, additional sessions may be necessary when a competition is pending.
  11. Athletes must respect the Trainer's decision in routines and team structures, as final.

In the event of an athlete wishing to discontinue their membership we would request that a month's notice be given in writing.  Whilst not wishing to be too formal and  imposing, please appreciate that with a Team of this nature, we have to be aware of who is or who isn't available at all times.
