La Frase Adjetiva
The adjectival phrase (frase adjetiva) is a short sentence that uses a preposition to relate a noun with another noun to modify their meaning. These short sentences have a similar role to the adjective. As you know the adjective can modify de noun, e.g. correo electrónico.
The
adjectival
phrase not only modifies the noun but also can add useful meaning.

In Spanish, the use of adjectival
phrase gives the writer a certain flexibility of expression.

How are adjectival phrases formed?
The adjectival phrases can
be formed by the following combinations.

The verb ser
or estar
is used to link the adjectival
phrase with the noun. For example: La fiesta es
para
mis amigos.
