What We Believe
We are made
of a body, a soul, and spirit. Our bodies will soon die, but our spirits
live forever.
From day
one, we inherited sin. Ex: No one taught us how to lie. We already knew how.
When we
die, our spirits will either be with God or away from God.
Doing
good things cannot save our spirits because the sin in our hearts keeps us
from God.
God, full
of love for us, became a human, named Jesus, to die to pay for all our sins
so that we would not be punished for them and so that we could be with him.
Since
Jesus died for us, Jesus is the ONLY way to be saved.
God is in
3 persons: Jesus the Son, the Holy Spirit, and God the Father
- God the father created everything
- God the son (Jesus Christ) was a human being on earth, who died and raised
from the dead
- The Holy Spirit (Holy Ghost) is God on earth and in our hearts, who helps
us with our lives on earth.
Sex is a gift for married couples. |
