The band was founded in the summer of 2001 through the coming together of two camps. Jonny & Gary had been playing the CT rock scene for the past few years in area favorites "4Jonny", while David & Mike had collaborated in the established modern rock band "Ivanhoe." With the departure of longtime 4Jonny members Nick Pinto & Geoff Cone, and the recent disbanding of Ivanhoe, it was the perfect opportunity for these four to join forces. Spoiled Jonny also marks the reunion of Jonny & David, who have an extensive history playing together, starting back in 1979, with such bands as Tyrant and Spoiled Rotten - hence the name Spoiled Jonny - Doh! |
