The story starts out with a kid named Gokou living in the house which his grandfather built and was living all alone till one day he found a space ship that fell from the sky. Son Gohan (Adopted Grandfather) saw that there was a boy inside the space ship and took him out. Gokou being a saiyan knew that his intentions were pure evil and needed to destroy all living creatures on earth so that people from his race would come and sell the planet. Due to when Son Gohan took him out for a walk Gokou fell from Son Gohan and hit his head on a rock. From then on he was not evil any more due to that fall and the bump. Gokou then experienced the death of his Grandfather. Son Gohan knowing that he had taught Gokou very well and also letting Master Roshi know about the space craft incident passed away knowing that Gokou would become a strong warrior and self dependent. Son Gohan also left Gokou a Dragon Ball before he passed away not knowing what the Dragon Ball's did he left it to Gokou as kinda like something to remember him by and not fell lonely while he was living in the house in the wilderness all alone. Well some time later this girl named Bulma came along searching for the seven Dragon Ball's and stumbled along Gokou. Gokou never seeing a girl before in his life was surprised to see one around his area. Bulma asked Gokou for the Dragon Ball. Gokou not knowing what a Dragon Ball was showed Bulma what he thought it was. Bulma then tells Gokou what the Dragon Ball's do and asked Gokou to come along with her for the hunt. Gokou accepts and that is how the tale begins. Gokou and Bulma then stumble along many people. Later on Gokou and Chi Chi get married at the end of the series and live happily ever after.
