The Buu Saga starts 7 years after Gohan defeated Cell. The Z Fighters have entered a tournament to test their skills against other warriors. They soon find out, when Master Ki tells them, that 2 evil people are trying to release a monster that would destroy the universe. The Z Fighters decide they will help Ki to defeat the monster, name Buu. They find who is doing it. Bobbity, a goblin mage with massive magical powers, and Deborah, the king of demons, who has the power to turn any one into stone. The Z Fighters engage Deborah and Bobbity. Once They begin, Deborah notices the ounces of black in Vegeta's heart. Using this against the Z Fighters, Bobity and Deborah turn Vegeta into one of Deborah's minions. Vegeta fights Goku, and Gohan and the Master Ki stay and fight Bobbity and Deborah. The energy given off from Vegeta and Goku's fight accelerates the hatching speed of Majin Buu. When he hatches, everyone thinks the hatching was too early and didnt happen right because Buu acts like a 4 year old. But then he kicks the snot outta Deborah and Gohan, proving his power and speed. Meanwhile, vegeta is busy double-crossing Goku, and knocks him out cold to defeat Majin buu.
