The Land of TAROS...

"Welcome weary traveler to The Trembling Unicorn, my humble inn." Boomed the old man behind the counter, one of the few people in the nearly empty tap room.  "My name is Armic, the owner.  Could I interest you in a fine meal and perhaps a mug of ale?  Too bad you weren't here yesterday, we had a fine minstrel pass through on his way to Latimer, and he told the most amazing story of adventure involving 3 beautiful women and a...."
"You're not from around here are you?  I didn't think so.  As a matter of fact, it wouldn't surprise me, to judge from your accent and clothing, if you aren't even on the world of your birth.  No need to be worried, it happens all the time. The gods are funny that way.   Why don't you sit down by the hearth, have a glass of this fine Elven wine, on the house of course, and let me tell you a little about the land of Taros, which, by the way, is where you are."

Disclaimer:  This is my world...  It is a combination of things from my own imagination and some of my favorite works of Fantasy literature.  If a "few" of the names seem familiar to you, they are.  If some of the characters (coming soon!) are vaguely similar to others you have seen or read about, they may be. (you try and come up with a couple hundred names for places, things and people and see if you don't borrow a few from other sources...)  If for some reason you feel that I am infringing on the rights of another person or 3rd party, please send me some e-mail and I will remove any reference to said material from this page.  I do not receive any monetary compensation for this project and it is intended as a free sharing of ideas for a game that many ppl, myself included, enjoy.  Feel free to use any part of it, or all of it, as the basis for your own campaign; that is why I put it here.

Bean's Page 'O AD+D Adventure Modules A Great collection of original, player created "adventures" for Dungeons & Dragons.  Some are presented in module format while others are just outlines or ideas.  I've played a few of them myself and highly recommend them.  If you never seem to have enough time to work up a good adventure of your own, check here.
