An Introduction:
The chart below documents every last one of the 187 battles that took place
in the Dragonball manga. Actually, this list contains more than 187 battles.
Why, you ask? Because elsewhere in Daizenshuu #2 (the Daizenshuu which contains
the "187 battles" list, from which this battle information was
collected), the book outlines other battles which the list of "187
battles" omits. In these cases, we have numbered the omitted battles
by number of the next battle or the preceding battle (whichever is more
appropriate), followed by a letter (i.e. 108a, 108b). Why didn't we just
stick to what everybody considers to be common knowledge? Because we feel
we owe it to the fans not to just translate a list out of some book, but
to verify the information, no matter how authoritative or official the source
is. Once again, we debunk a commonly held fact as mere myth. In addition,
this chart now document all of the battles which were exclusive to the TV
Series, Movies, and TV Specials.
How This Chart Works:
All battles divided into their respective sagas. Manga battles are listed
under the manga volume and chapter in which they began (NOT when they finished).
TV Series Battles are sorted by the episode number in which they began.
If a battle ended in a different episode than it began, then it is noted.
Follow the key above each table for more specifics.
