It is the girls' dorm at night. Akari is pitying herself in her "Akari House" box, over which her schoolmates have written a few rude words. Suddenly, a spear pierces the box; it was Tanya, who had wondered what the box was. Akari tells her it is her home, "Can't you see the words?" But it is words other than "Akari House" that come to Tanya's eye. She asks, "Are you slow?" Akari says "I'm not slow for fun. I wish I could be like you." Tanya surprises Akari by saying, "Sure you can!" She says praying to Ngaji will make Akari ran faster.
TitleIn Tanya's room, she tells Akari that today is the annual holy day of Ngaji and prayer to Him would carry special meaning. She starts the ceremony with giving Akari a face painting; "Oh, you've become really beautiful and wonderful." "Really?" "Yes. It's as if you're not Akari anymore." "What do you mean?" She teaches Akari how to dance as a prayer to Ngaji but suddenly "a good idea" pops into her head.
In front of a vending machine, a student is about to enjoy a late night drink (even getting a drink seems to be a part of the training here ^_^;;). She senses something but is not sure if it is real. Suddenly a rain of spears attacks her from the ceiling and Tanya follows.
Ichino is peacefully asleep in her bed when someone sneaks in and leans over her with a paint bottle and a brush. But Ichino is alert enough to find the intruder. "What are you doing? When did you come in? What kind of joke is this!?!?"
Ichino and others find the victim in front of the vending machine. Ling-Pha takes photos as a "memory of young days". Jessie asks if Tanya did this and Akari, with a tag saying "Idiot" around her neck, confirms it. Another girl who has been to Tanya's room to examine it comes back and tells them she could not find Tanya but there was a sacred Ngaji figure. Akari explains Tanya wanted to make everyone run faster, which appalls Ichino "If a prayer can make me run faster, who needs University Satellite?"
Suddenly all the lights go off and Jessie asks someone to check the distributor. Ling-Pha suggests to her that they contact the School but Jessie does not want to make the case serious, which would be a trouble for Tanya. Ichino is impressed with her considerate attitude. Then the girl who went to check the distributor returns to report that it has been destroyed with an axe and they cann no longer open the door to get out. It is clear Tanya is serious. They decide to search for Tanya in several groups. Ichino goes with Akari but insists she should remain fastened as a punishment.
Ichino tells Akari effort is an essential part of sports, "Because you endure hard training, a new record can make you so much happier, right?" Akari ponders over her words but the silence is broken by the sound of a big bell by Ling-Pha, who cannot stand "serious silence". She takes a photo of the two. A gild hugging another at midnight in a girls' dorm... an ideal shot to sell to a boys' magazine! While she and Ichino are battling over the photo, Tanya whispers to Akari that she is going to save her. But Akari says she has changed her mind and asks Tanya to end the festival, which fails to impress Tanya. With a gesture of defiance to Ichino, she runs away.
Eye-CatcherIn the mean time, Jessie searches for Tanya with another girl. This girl is also impressed with her considerate decision not to inform the School. Abashed a little, Jessie changes the subject and tells her that she is not happy to hear the girl, of the same age, use the polite form of Japanese to her and call her Jessie-san. She can call her whatever she likes. The girl jubilantly shouts back "Oh, can I!?" "Yeah..." "Then... Jessie...-sama" "Sama!?!?" [The characters oh her face read 'sama'] It is more than obvious the girl is in love with Jessie, "Could you be my Oneesama?" ['oneesama' is, as you know, "big sister" but often means the dominant person in a lesbian pair] Jessie cannot handle this and all she can do is run away.
As she runs, she hears Ichino's voice. Ichino has been chasing Tanya and they are heading towards Jessie. They can catch her between them! But they end up hitting each other as Tanya manages to escape through a ceiling vent. Ichino shouts at her to come down but Tanya's reply is yellow paint followed by a bug, which is enough to send Ichino into a panic. Jessie is appalled with this cowardliness of Ichino; "What's the matter? It's just a single bug." But she soon finds out even she cannot stand "a lot of" them.
Even after a few hours of trying to ctach Tanya, the girls have had no success. Only the number of victims has increased. To make things worse, only Tanya knows how to remove this special paint. Time is running out. The morning sun will put all these funny faces into public display ^_^;; The girls decide to go for the last resort. Some one will contact Tanya as bait and allure her to the dining hall, where the rest of the girls will capture her. To beat Tanya, one of the fastest runner at the school, three girls will have to relay to the hall. The baton is the Ngaji statue, which should be too precious for Tanya to ignore. Jessie volunteers as the starter and Ichino offers to run the second. The other girls are not very enthusiastic to run against Tanya except Akari, who feels responsible for all the trouble.
Jessie finds Tanya busy painting all over the walls along the corridor and challenges her. The die is cast. Jessie is confident in her victory until she sees Tanya running just behind her... on all fours ^o^ "Can't you run as a human should!?" To surprise her more, Tanya blows a needle from her mouth to Jessie's forehead.
Jessie manages to hand the baton to Ichino but for some reason Tanya comes back to her. She starts painting Jessie's face "just in case", ignoring the race. Satisfied with her work on Jessie's face, Tanya resumes her chase for the figure. But, as Ichino planned, she is getting tired. Just when Ichino becomes confident in her victory, she loses sight of Tanya. "Where is she gone? Ceiling!?" She was wrong and Tanya jumps on to her. Ichino decides to continue with Tanya on her head. With Tanya's hands over her eyes, she literally runs blindly and nearly hits the wall. But she is quick enough to escape the collision... or she thought so. A big totem pole has welcomed her instead; "There is no need for a customary joke here..." But at least she manages to toss the baton to Akari before Tanya snatches it.
The baton is now in Akari's hand. She first tries to persuade Tanya without success. Tanya chases her vigorously but cannot catch up. "Why!? You're Akari and yet you can run fast!?" The battle of the two continues until Tanya's spear manages to pick the bottle of paint from Akari's pocket. Blinded with the paint, she gets entangled with Akari and rolls into the dining hall where all the girls are ready to capture her.
The girls are about to seek revenge but Akari asks them not to. It is her fault and she will accept all the blame. Besides Tanya did it with a good will. She turns to Tanya and tells her the importance of training but the idea is too difficult for Tanya to understand. Tanya resumes her rant and the girls do not know what to do.
It is Ayla, who has been sleeping without noticing what has been going on, who stops her in the end. Her karate chop is enough to quiet Tanya. Satisfied with the peace, she returns to her bed, sating as she leaves, "One Siberian Lunch, please..." She is not fully awake ^_^;; [Note that "Siberian Lunch" is funny because of "Osaka Lunch" in Episode 2]
In the morning, Yumika sees the girls and wants to know what has happened. Their reply is "It's all Ngaji's fault!!"
