Everything in [] is my comment. This is an unedited version and plenty of typographic and grammatical errors are expected.

At a construction site, a shovel hits a big green stone. The site manager tells a young man to see what it is. The man, Yotsuga, tells him it's ancient remains and picks up a small object, looking like a remote controller of a TV (^_^;;). The manager fears possible academic investigation would delay the work and decides to destroy it. Yotsuga isn't sure if that is the best decision but has no way but obey the order. Then the world is split in two; in one world he keeps the small object of the ruin in his pocket while in the other he throws it away.

22 years later....

A boy wakes up in his room. He sees to have fallen asleep while using his computer. His mother gives him a shout from downstairs and he hastily comes down to the dining room, where he eats his breakfast with his father [the young man at the construction site]. His mother finds something in his bag [the small object?] and seems to disapprove of it. The boy defies her and leaves home for school.

On his way to school, two girls walking behind him whisper about him to each other. It seems he is pretty well-known in his school for a wrong reason. Then a missile lands on them. The boy, Yotsuga Kazuki, looks at where it has come from. A white giant robot is maneuvering at a distance. He knows it; "Halcynen..."

Two laughing voices behind him make Kazuki turn back. It is the two girls who have directly hit by the missile. Strangely they are perfectly all right. One girl says to the other, "Look! I told you so." By the time Kazuki turns back again, the robot as well as any evidence of the battle has disappeared. He sees things others don't.

At the school, Kazuki is taking a physics class... or sitting in it. Ignoring the lecture, he is busy typing his mobile computer. Outside of the window, Halcynen is fighting against another big robot. His classmate behind him tries to stop him in vain. It seems that he is controlling Halcynen with his computer and he is pleased when Halcynen throws the enemy down. Then a missile flies toward him and he shuts his eyes in desperation. It is, however, not the missile but the teacher's hand that actually hits him.

After school, a beautiful girl walks down the staircase. Two boys admires her like a Goddess.

Kazuki uses a public phone at the school entrance to connect his computer to the net. He accesses a BBS where he sees a message to him from someone called, Sanada Mitsuki, saying "You made a sortie yesterday. I'm looking forward to the victory of Halcynen." He is pleased to read it at first then frowns at the name of the sender. It sounds familiar to him. But his thoughts are interrupted by the beautiful girl. Kazuki thinks she wants to use the phone but it is himself that she is interested. More precisely she is interested in the story on his homepage, "Is it true that you see illusions of robots?" Kazuki, who is used to abuses about his illusions, denies it, "No, it's just my creation," and walks away. The girl uses the phone and tells someone over the phone to stay at home. In the mean time, Kazuki stops walking in astonishment at what he sees. The school gate is completely destroyed and a black robot is very close to him.

The girl comes in front of him. She stands above a big hole made by the explosion. Obviously the hole Kazuki sees is not real. She calmly asks him, "Tell me. What's happening now?" Now Kazuki tells her what he really sees. "I know it's not real... but it's too real, Sanada-senpai." "You know my name?" "... you are famous." "You, too."

The two walks across the school ground together, which attracts many angry gazes from boys. Their anger grows even bigger when they see Mitsuki trying to link her arm with his and Kazuki refusing it. In the end Mitsuki manages to walk arm-in-arm with him but Kazuki's heart isn't softened yet. He thinks she is one of those who are merely making fun of him. She assures she is really interested in his story but fails to convince him.

Then a bunch of men from *various* clubs snatches him away from Mitsuki. They want to know what's going on between them. All Kazuki can do is run away and he gets chased by them all over the town. Mitsuki saves him by inviting him into a shop where the boys cannot follow; a lingerie shop ^_^;;

Having bought something [*^_^*], the two come out of the shop from the back door. Mitsuki apologises him about the trouble which she caused and reassures him that she has no intention of making fun of him. Her serious look finally persuades him. He starts chatting with her more friendly. He tells her all about his robots so enthusiastic he didn't realise that they have arrived at Mitsuki's home. Her words sends Kazuki to Heaven, "Yotsuga-kun, could you tell more of your story..." then to Hell "to my father?" A man in a white lab coat rushes out of the house to give Kazuki a really passionate hug.

In his weird-looking lab, the man introduces himself as Sanada Ken, Mitsuki's father, an associate professor of a certain university. Kazuki isn't pleased to hear this as he is tied to a chair with a few equipment around him [exactly like Tenchi in front of Washuu]. Ken ignores his displeasure and shows him a photo of his wife (Ayuko), who has run away with another man.

Ken investigates Kazuki's body only to find his is nothing but normal. Then why does he see the visions of the robots? Ken believes the most of the troubles in this world is caused by the interference from a parallel world and the vision Kazuki sees is the very thing. Ken momentarily switches on a TV, on which a middle-aged man appears [the guy is Ken's rival in the academia]. He wants to prove his hypothesis by sending Kazuki to the parallel world with a system he has invented. Mitsuki reminds him that the system is yet unfinished but that is a small matter to Ken because "he" in the other world which "probably" exists will be able to send Kazuki back. Mitsuki isn't convinced and tries to stop him. Her words manage to calm Ken down and he gives up the idea at least for now. Relieved, Mitsuki sits down... on a lever which activates the system.

Kazuki sees various strange images before regaining his normal self. He finds himself tied on a chair in a similar but definitely deserted lab. There's no Mitsuki or Ken, either. The belt that ties him to the chair is so old and brittle he can release himself from the chair. He walks around in the house to look for Mitsuki without success. So he decides to go home.

It is not only Mitsuki's house but the entire city which is deserted. He sees absolutely no one on his way home. He drops in a phone booth to connect his computer to the net but all he gets is the error message "Not Found."

Then he hears the familiar sound of the big robot. But this time a small piece of concrete fallen from a building because of the vibration actually hits him. Then he sees Halcynen falling over him and barely escapes.

The robot seems to be damaged and remains silent. Having recovered from the first shock, Kazuki climbs up the robot and confirms it is really there. Abruptly its cockpit opens and an injured woman appears from it. She only manages to say to Kazuki, "Run away...", and loses her consciousness. Kazuki runs to her to rescue but gets confined in the cockpit as its door closes again.

The robot is in the combat now and a black robot starts attacking him. Kazuki is panicked but his concern about the injured woman becomes anger against the attacker, which somehow activates Halcynen's system. Kazuki and Halcynen manage to destroy the enemy.

In the cockpit the woman regains her consciousness briefly and sees Kazuki's face, panting heavily after the battle. She loses her consciousness again but with a rather peaceful look on her face. The cockpit opens again to show to Kazuki his town, now completely destroyed.
