OP

A young girl with brown hair (Kasuga Yui) is very pleased to hear her father say he will invite her to the Galaxyland; the new virtual entertainment software of his company. It enables the users to virtually enjoy a theme park. Thus one can enjoy any attraction at any time without waiting in queues. There is also a hidden item, an Element Suits, which only those who find it can wear. While the father and daughter are happily dancing, Yui's mother calls them; they were in the middle of breakfast. But the two won't be affected. The father is a very busy person and it is very precious event for them to play together.

Subtitle

An old man sits in front of a computer. He, Dr Inukai, is sending his last program, IR, off to the virtual Comnet. Having sent all of his programs off, he knows what to do next; "find that thing".

Yui is taking a lesson at school of communication over computers. Obviously she doesn't know what to do and gets into a panic. Two of her classmates, a boy and girl, sitting next to her give her advice. But it was too late; her computer has frozen because of overload. As the class ends, the teacher tells that those who haven't finished the project must do it at home. The boy, Takashi, leaves the classroom with a teasing comment to Yui. The girl, Kisaragi Haruna, who is clearly in love with Takashi, also leaves, saying she will wait for Yui in the library.

Yui, who had hoped Haruna would help, has no choice but keeps working in the room alone. She gets so frustrated with the computer she hits it when IR appears on its screen. But, before Yui can say a word, he disappears and the disc comes out of her computer to tell her work is over. Yui is so relieved to be able to go home she doesn't think of the image she has seen.

That evening Yui's father apologizes Yui over the phone. They have found a bug in the program of the Galaxyland and he cannot come home to deal with it. Yui isn't happy as he breaks his promise too often like this. The mother reproves her. Looking at the rain outside, she thinks of the Galaxyland, where one can have fun regardless of the weather.

Dr Inukai is driving his car in a heavy rain. The navigation system advises him to slow down but he has no intention to listen to it. He must find "the thing" as soon as possible. Then his navigation system gets out of control; it is taken over by someone called Grosser. He tells Dr Inukai that he had taken the entire Comnet under his control and orders him to hand his eight programs in; otherwise he will kill him. Dr Inukai retorts that he has already sent them off to Comnet and even he doesn't know where they are now. Grosser tries to control Dr Inukai himself so that he will help to search the softwares but the doctor sacrificed his life to resist Grosser.

In his castle, angry Grosser summons Werwolf and orders to find out the eight programs of Dr Inukai.

Eyecatcher

Next day the bad weather keeps Yui at home and she reluctantly decides to do her homework. But as soon as she puts the disc in and switches the computer on, it appears to break down. Yui in panic hits the computer but a voice tells her not to. The voice comes from the computer; it is IR, who has been trapped in her disc. He introduces himself to Yui as an "Installer" who controls computers. The fact he knows Yui's name surprises her but, according to him, it is a very easy thing to do for someone who can access to the Comnet information centre.

He is about to leave her computer when his sensors reacts to Yui. So IR asks Yui to come to Comnet with him. She, thinking he is just joking, follows his instructions and eventually gets transported into Comnet. Now she can look at herself in the real world, who falls asleep, through the screen.

As they fly around in Comnet, IR explains the situation to Yui. The host computer of Comnet, Grosser, suddenly acquired self-consciousness and decided to take the net over and IR is one of the eight "Installers" who were built to capture Grosser.

They come out of Comnet and find themselves in Galaxyland. Yui is joyous and wants to have fun but IR doesn't. While the two are quarreling, Werwolf finds them. Suddenly black holes appear and spread in the blue sky over Galaxyland. They are bugs. As IR takes Yui to safety, she sees her father investigating the theme park. He and his colleagues are surprised at the extent of the bug and decide to go back for now. But they cannot; they are trapped.

Yui and IR come to the operation room and he accesses to the administrator of Galaxyland. He finds out that Grosser is going to delete Galaxyland. It means IR and Yui, as well as Yui's father, will be deleted! Then Werwolf appears on the screen. Yui tells IR to beat the "doggie" but IR isn't made for combat. Yui angrily asks him, "Then who would seal him!?" IR's answer is enough to surprise her, "Yes, please do". IR asks her to look for anything which may help them but all she can think of is the Element Suit. Surprisingly, however, IR gets excited to hear it His "real-scan function" should be able to add various items to it. Yui is jubilant, "Oh can I transform!? A righteous heroine must transform, right?"

IR gets the data of the Element Suit and reinforces it by giving it more protection and mobility. Then he downloads it on to Yui. She is very pleased to see herself in the Element Suit, "I'm like the Comnet fairy!" IR tells her that she should call herself "Corrector". She is rather pleased with the name "Corrector Yui" doesn't know what to do next. IR's answer is far from practical; "Get over it with your energy and guts." He tells her that he exists for the sake of her possibility.

They come out of the room. Suggested by IR, Yui waves her wand, which sprinkles stars around. The stars corrects the bugs and makes bright patches in the dark sky. Having seen this, Werwolf decides to attack her directly. Yui manages to make him attack her image on the mirror that supports the roof of a merry-go-round. Werewolf gets crushed under the roof collapsed.

Now that Werewolf is trapped beneath the rubble, Yui loses not time to carry on her work. She rides on the roller coaster and sprinkles a number of stars. Werewolf, who has recovered, cuts the rail of the coaster with his sword and Yui and IR are thrown out. To his surprise, however, they receive no damage. She poses like any anime heroine would do and asks IR if she looks cool (^_^;;), to which IR gives the most positive answer. A big star from her wand is enough to beat Werewolf and all the bugs are wiped off from Galaxyland. Having confirmed her victory, Yui is relieved but Werwolf's voice from somewhere warns her that he will delete her next time.

Yui's father and his colleagues are now able to go back to the real world. Seeing this, Yui wants to go back herself. So IR takes the Element Suit off of her, which embarrasses her immensely. "I cannot transform in public like this."

Yui comes back to her real body at home and wonders if everything was just her dream. But the screensaver of IR denies it. Her mother and father come to her room. He has finished his work and promises he would take her to Galaxyland. Yui replies, "Oh, then, I'll guide you around."
