To the Light About Me To the Dark Side
Before I even get started, I couldn't come up with a color scheme and I asked one of my smart ass friends to name 5 colors that he thinks describes me. Being the smartass he is, you're looking at the colors he gave me. Well 4, until you click on a link and see the active link color. Yeah I know it's a pretty simple set up, just basic HTML, but I really don't feel like making a craptastic CSS project with this color scheme. So if'n you don't be likin' it, you can be kissin' dis honky's ass.

I can't think of much to say really. I've come up with the usual questions and I'll be answering them after this paragraph. I'm just trying to think of something to say that isn't going to be repeated below this. Um...........yeah. I'm a pretty different guy for this area. To quote George Carlin, "I've got this real moron thing I do. It's called THINKING!" I don't need people to tell me what to think. I'd rather do that on my own. That alone is frowned upon in the South. Ah, the glorious South. How I hate thee. So anyway, I find beauty in dark thinks, which freaks out most people around here. I don't consider myself to be a goth. I don't consider myself to be a rocker. I don't consider myself to be a geek. I don't like labels. I'm a little bit of all those things. No point in tight casting myself to one group. Uh, let's see. I've had a few nicknames throughout my life. There's only been two that have stuck. The Undertaker (or 'taker) and The Wrecker. I used to have long hair and I've always worn dark clothing and living in Redneck Region, Undertaker was about as much imagination as these people could muster. Hey, at least it's a cool wrestler. Anyway, the other is The Wrecker. That one came about because I got in a wreck in the Valdosta Tech Cook Center parking lot. Right in plain view of the guys in my CIS class. "Oh look, Tom's here. There's Tom getting in a wreck. WHAT?!?!" That was actually muttered by a friend of mine who saw it happen. Anyway, my instructor, Kevin Olsen, crowned me The Wrecker. I've been that ever since. I even signed my tests as Thomas "The Wrecker" Howard. And I turned my HTML project in on a CD with a wrecked car on the label. I actually like that nickname. If you sneeze, I don't say "bless you" or it's other variants. I actually bless you. If I really like you, I do it backwards. I think that's about it for this part. On with the questions.

Name: Tomy. Yeah. One "m". Yeah. Thomas. Tom. I answer to them all.

Age: 24

Height: 6'1"

Eye Color: Blue

Day Job: I work nights, but, I'm the Night Manager/Security Guard/Head of the IT Department of the House of Grace. Actually I am the IT Department. It's not that bad of a job. I get to mess with computers and meet some remarkable people. I've met a few fucking morons too, but that's the way it is everywhere. I'm also designing the website for the House of Grace. Trust me, it looks much better than this craptacular site. Or rather it will, if my copy of Dreamweaver MX 2004 ever comes in.

What do you do in your free time? Mostly sleep. If I'm not at work, I'm at school, and if I'm not at either place, chances are I'm either working on someone's computer, hanging out with my friends, working on another website I'm developing, or doing one or more of my hobbies (I'm a multitasker, even now I've got 2 different websites open, writing this, and talking to a friend online all at the same time).

Hobbies: Even though some of this stuff are thing I want to do for a living, I don't get paid to do them, so they're still hobbies. Writing music, writing screenplays/filmmaking, listening to music, watching movies, videogames, case modding, watching football, hanging out with my friends, talking, pretty much anything. I'm pretty easy that way.

Instruments I play: Guitar, bass, clarinet, little flute, little trumpet, sing, piano/keyboard. Next up is cello and drums.

Have I put out a CD? Ugh. Yes. Not nationally or anything. I made a 3 song CD for family and friends for Christmas one year. It had my version of Pachbel's Canon, my version of Pennyroyal Tea (Orginally by Nirvana), and a song called Empty Harmony that I wrote. The recording came out well. The mixing didn't. And that fucked the whole thing up. I didn't care because I put a lot of time into it. I still shudder whenever one of my family members breaks it out. Will I ever release it again? Maybe. I don't know. Be nice and maybe.

What movies have you done? The technical answer is none. I've done a few shorts here and there, but they were mostly for practice. I have no intention of broadcasting them. However I am working on a couple scripts for shorts, an outline for a full-length film, and a screenplay for a full-length film.

Future Projects: I'm hoping to shoot a short this summer sometime. I'm working on a couple websites besides this one (this will look better in the future, I promise). One is mostly going to be a place to host my shorts and animations. The other is a site that I'm making with a couple friends. It's going to be a place for mass communication and ideas and opinions if it ever takes off. I'm also working on the aforementioned double CD. I'm writing up some character bios for a webcomic that I'm going to start. That webcomic is going to one day become a flash cartoon (once I decide to learn) and will then one day become a 3D Computer Animation. I've got a friend who is all into 3D and he's salivating at the possibilities. Right now, he's just gotta have the time and resources to do it.
