Fall 2000 Performances (BDC)
December 8 & 9, 2000
Go ask Alice, I think she'll know...
This was my first show at Bucknell University. I was a lowly stage crew member but you always have to start small, right? (Warning: self-praise approaching...) It was weird going from an (now!) award-winning assistant director to a crew girl who was neglected from being in the program. That's right, send your protests to Bucknell University's Theatre Department. : ) I'm just kidding, please don't do that. Nevertheless, it was a good experience because I've never done a dance show before and I'm glad I did. It's not too different from a straight show and, if the opportunity presented itself, I would love to stage manage a dance production. Anyway, the show itself consisted of seven dance pieces ranging from ballet, to interpretive, to music featured on TRL. The largest piece was a telling of Alice in Wonderland through dance. I got a kick out of how everyone thought it was weird and whacked out...little do they know, little do they know. Remember Wonderland? Well I certainly couldn't forget. Well, I'm getting off topic. Browse through the rest of these sections and even look at the pictures which I shamelessly stole off of the Bucknell website (so make sure you visit there, alright?)!
