Narrator (Heather Lane): Little Johnny (Dave Knight) acts out what narrator says One morning, Little Johnny wakes up. He gets dressed and he goes downstairs to see his parents fighting.
Rusty Bluhm (Little Johnny's father): Upon seeing his wife Hi honey!
Sara Bradley (Little Johnny's mother): Upon seeing her husband Hi sweetie!
Rusty: I have been meaning to talk to you about something...
Sara: Oh really? What?
Rusty: I want to know why you've been sneaking off every night?
Sara: What are you talking about?
Rusty: Oh come on! You know you've been going out and doing it with Cooper*!
Sara: You leave Cooper out of this! You know, you made me do this?
Rusty: Me?
Sara: Yes you! You don't care about me or your son anymore! It's just trombone this and trombone that**! You lost a little thing called romance!
Rusty: Yeah? Well you lost your sex appeal!
Sara: You're a no good excuse for a father!
Rusty: Well your a stupid blue bonnet! Sara exits crying. Scene ends
*Cooper is our drum major who agreed to be humiliated prior to the skit
**Rusty plays the trombone
Note: This wasn't the end of the skit, only the scene. Other characters in this skit included Danielle Kline as Johnny's teacher, Jeff Kohl as the principal, Francis Szalay as the judge, and Susanna White as Johnny's old friend.
