My first show of the season and my last fall drama ever! Boo-hoo! What an interesting way of beginning my senior year of high school. Everyday after school I learned about lechery, and the ten commandments, and witchcraft, and how to be an "upright woman." Oh so much fun! This was the first show under our new theatre teacher/director Ms. Russo. Since she does things a little differently she wanted me and Pete Demyanovich (the stage managers) to attend every rehearsal with Tara Lowary (our Assistant Director). This makes sense and everything since ASM's go to every rehearsal along with the stage manager in professional shows. But I have to admit, at times it was very tedious and boring. It only picked up for me when the actors got off book and I had to do lines notes (which was insane!!!). All in all the show went well.
One thing that was completely different from past shows were some new actors. Namely Matt Colabraro and Pete Wood used to be in crew until they deserted us and auditioned! Thanks a lot guys! : ) No, but seriously they did a great job. I'm serious! Stop laughing, I'm really not kidding!
