The Legend of Robin Hood (CCP)

January 9-11 & 16-18, 1998

A mime is a terrible thing to waste
This was quite an experience and if you missed it I'm terribly sorry. This was my first Fantasy Theatre production. What's Fantasy Theatre, you ask? Well, Fantasy Theatre is a theatre specially designed for younger audiences. However adults and teens (me) seem to like it too since there are some clever jokes and annoying puns. Fantasy Theatre uses CCP for there productions along with the Mainstream Players productions and New Jersey Voices. Anyway, on this show I was, sadly, not backstage; but in the nest running sound! Yes, it baffled me too at first. Sound? Sound? How do they expect a backstage-props-running-s.crew-girl to do sound? Easy! With a little help from our director Steve Ruskin, me and my pal Dave (BYW-we are not related) were on the way to success. It really wasn't that hard. We just had to run tracks of music and sound effects off the mini-disk and learn the "art of fading". I certainly hope to return to this soon since it was a lot of fun. 'Tis sad for I have none theatre related 'till Wonderful Town!
