This is another picture from that WWII show. You can see in this photo that it must be the beginning of the piece "Swing, Swing, Swing" because the saxes are in their featured set and the guard is getting ready to dance. While the drill for us in this song was really easy...the music was really hard! We saxes are used to quarter notes and whole notes and perhaps some eighth notes from time to time. But never anything like this! It sounded horrible at band camp but by Giants Stadium we played it like pros!
