According to Webster's Dictionary Judge-v-1. to hear and pass judgment on.  2. to determine a winner or settle a dispute. 3. to form an opinion about. 4. to criticize or censure.  5. to think; suppose. judgemental-adj-making judgments as to value, etc. often, specific, judgments considered to be lacking in tolerance, objectivity, etc.

This is a question that was asked me as concerning our Mission Statement - to always encourage one another and NEVER to judge. Even though I personally have strong opinions against the RIGHTS of one Christian to judge to judge another, I had never taken time to seek out what the Word of God has to say about the subject. This page has been dedicated to that study.

Matthew 9:13 ...I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

St. John 13:34-35 34. A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. 35. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, that ye have love one to another.

St. John 12:46-47 46. I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness. 47. And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.

St. John 3:17 For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved.

St. John 8:18-16 15. Ye judge after the flesh; I judge no man. 16. And yet if I judge, my judgment is true: for I am not alone, but I and the Father that sent me.

St. John 7:24 Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.

St. Luke 6:36-38 36. Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful. 37. Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven. 38. Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

1 Corinthians 11:31-32 31. For if we judge ourselves, we should not be judged. 32. But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world.
