We Have Hope

Hebrews 8:10-12 10. For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their heart: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to Me a people: 11. And they shall not teach every man his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know Me, from the least to the greatest. 12. For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.

St. John 5:20-24 20. For the Father hath loved the Son, and sheweth Him all things that that Himself doeth: and He will shew Him greater works than these, that ye may marvel. 21. For as the Father raiseth up the dead, and quickeneth them; even so the Son quickeneth whom He will. 22. For the Father judgeth no man, but hath commited all judgement unto the Son: 23. That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father who hath sent Him. 24. Verily, verily, I say unto you, he that heareth My word, and believeth on Him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

IN ALL HIS SPENDOR,
JESUS PRAYED FOR STRENGTH
TO ENDURE HIS JUSTICE.

Luke 22:41-44
41. And He was withdrawn from them about a stone's cast, and kneeled down, and prayed,
42. Saying, Father, if Thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not My will, but Thine, be done.
43. And there appeared an angel unto Him from heaven, strengthening Him.
44. And being in agony He prayed more earnestly: and His sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground.
