How it all began....

It all began when Sakura found the book of Clow in her basement. She opened the book and came across some cards. She read the top card, "Windy". A huge wind kicked up and blew all the cards away. And that's how the story began. So now Sakura is the chosen cardcaptor with Kero, the guardian beast of the seal of the Clow Cards, Madison, her best friend and Li, her rival to capture the cards.

So meet the characters,

Sakura, is the main character, a sporty and brave girl. She lives with her brother, Tori, and father, Aiden. Her mother died a long time ago. She is the chosen cardcaptor to capture all the cards.

Sakura is a natural at sports. She can rollerblade, run, jump, twirl, swim, do backflips; the list is endless. Even if she doesn't know a sport she learns quick enough.

Sakura has a lot ahead of her. She is so unique, a star shining like no other. There couldn't possibly be another girl with the exact talents and pure hearted soul like Sakura.

Because she is the cardcaptor.

 

Li Shrowden is another cardcaptor. When he first came to Readington he was always trying to better Sakura at everything and discourage her cardcapturing abilities. But later on in the series they become close friends. Li is also a natural at sports. Sakura and Li are always very competitive with each other.

 

Madison Taylor is Sakura's best friend. She has no magic but joins the Cardcapturing quest. Sakura didn't tell Madison about the Clow Cards. Madison saw her flying near the moon while she was looking outside her bedroom window. Sakura was afraid that Madison wouldn't believe her and think she was really weird but Madison took it well and was eager to learn more about the magic of the Clow Cards and help Sakura along the way. Madison makes costumes for Sakura and video tapes her adventures. Sakura is very lucky to have Madison for a best friend. Madison is never mean to anyone. It doesn't matter how mean anyone would be to her, She just wouldn't start a hatred and be spiteful. She's not that sort of person. She is calm, down to earth and never hurt anyone. Sakura is fortunate to have her with her along the journey.

 

So they are the main characters. Meilin and Kero are also part of the Clow Card journey. Sakura also has more school friends: Chelsie, Nikki, Rita and Zachary.

So this is the story.

But does everyone get on with each other? I wouldn't say yes. Kero isn't exactly fond of Li and Meilin and they aren't exactly fond of him either.

Kero and Li fight a lot. Probably when Li first came he criticizes Sakura and tried to take away her Clow Cards. This picture explains it well, ^_^.

Kero calls Meilin 'little girl' and 'Li's girlfriend' and refers to Li as 'the kid' and 'the brat'.

But Kero doesn't hold a grudge against Madison. In fact, Kero adores Madison. She is always kind to him and whenever she comes to Sakura's house she brings homemade treats for Sakura and Kero. Madison usally remembers to videotape Sakura's cardcaptures. But some times she forgets and gets all sad like. It may look funny on screen but Madison treasures every video she has about Sakura and often watches them in her own private theater. Sometimes Kero and Madison dress up in spy like costumes and secretly try to video tape Sakura's cardcaptures.
