FAQ

Artwork Questions

Q: How did you learn how to draw?

A: I'm currently am taking Fine Arts in my school but otherwise I'm self taught.

Q: What do you use to colour your pictures?

A: Adobe Photoshop7

Q: How did you learn how to use it?

A: I taught myself. It was very...very hard. I'm finally am getting the hang of it.

Q: Where did your tutorials go?

A: Apparently people were stealing them so I took them down. Plus in two
particular tutorials I did feature a certain character and people were copying
the design which I worked extremely hard on so I removed them.

Q: Do you take requests?

A: No.

Q: Do you take art trades?

A: No.

Q: Do you take commissions?

A: Yes, I do. Go to the commission page for pricing and shipping information.

Q: May I put some of your art on my site?

A: All depends on what it's for. I don't want my original drawings going but
if you e-mail and ask about fanart, I mostly say yes unless your website is offensive to others.

Q: I'm a long time visitor of your website and I remember seeing lots of
other images. Where did all the older pictures go?

A: I deleted them because I believe my newest work is better. This website
is an online art portfolio and if people want to hire me, I want to make sure they
see pictures with good anatomy and colouring then my older pictures.

Q: Will you send me the deleted files of the pictures?

A: No. I would, but I honestly don't have them anymore. I don't back-up my
files. But there is my online art galleries on the Links page which has older artwork.

Q: Why do you draw only Digital Art?

A: I don't only draw Digital Artwork but it happens to be my
preferred medium. I upload almost all digital art because it happens to be
alot better then my traditional work.

FAQ

Q: Why aren't the prices higher/lower?

A: I up the price every once in a while (maybe once a year)
because my art improves with time. I keep prices to a level which I think is fair to both myself and the customer.

Q: Why don't you charge shipping and handling?

A: Because I hate it when people charge me for S&H so I pay for the
shipping out of the money you pay me for the commission.

Q: I have a more private commission...is it okay if you don't put it on your
website/online art galleries?

A: That's most certainly fine. I respect your privacey.

Website Questions

Q: Why do you call it Kala Nag Studios?

A: Kala Nag is the name of my white tigress character (I got the name from
one of my favourite stories in The Jungle Book) and I thought it appropriate cause it has a nice ring to it.

Q: I found some broken images/links. Want me to notify you?

A: Yes, please. My e-mail is on the Home page.

Q: What do you use to build this site?

A: HTML and Adobe Photoshop and ImageReady for the image maps.

Q: Will you link to my site?

A: Only if you link to mine and your site doesn't have offensive material.

Q: One of the websites you link has adult material! Why didn't you warn us?

A: I did. I told you some material on other sites may include subjects not suitable for younger people. I'm not responsible for other's sites. Only mine.

Q: How did you learn HTML?

A: I learned from Lissa's HTML Help Site for Kids. It's helped me alot.

Q: May I link to your site?

A: Of course you may. Please tell me if you plan to so I can look around.

 Miscellany Questions

Q: When you grow up, do you want to be an artist?

A: I already consider myself to be an artist. But yes, when I'm older I would like to be an animator.

Q: How do you pronounce Kala Nag?

A: Kala is pronounced the way it's spelt but Nag...

Example: Moulin Rouge. The G in Rouge makes a softer sound. The G in Nag does as well.

Q: Why don't you like Sirius Black from Harry Potter?

A: I personally think he's self centered and obnoxious. If you like him, go right ahead. I'm not stopping you. Now stop telling me to like him.

Q: Why won't you give out your instant messaging names?

A: I've had some very bad experiences doing that which include people start
spreading around I'm their best friend when only talking to them once,
harrassing me for free artwork, angsting at me and generally being annoying so I only give them out to close friends.
