Katrina Montgomery didn't want much out of life, just a nice car, trendy clothes and lots of friends. Then it happened--everything she knew seemed to fade away and she saw what life really was...she had awakened. After the initial shock and amazement she found that could now become the most popular girl in school and all those people who didn't really like her and talked behind her back all those years would get what they deserved. Before she traveled too far down the path of corruption she was introduced to a new kind of group. These were people that knew exactly what she was going through and accepted her for who she was...well kind of.
So here she was, with a new life, new friends, powers that she couldn't have even dreamed of...what next? Fate decided that for her when she was discovered that she was choosen for something far more important then the petty rivalrys between the Traditions or the endless fight against the Technocracy! It was through this adventure that she met her Avatar, whom she named Icabod, escaped both Wyrm Tainted Bastet, Pentex and other Mages (who didn't like the fact that she was self-awakened).
