my journal

In this journal you could find out how un-interesting my life really is. I really don't do much at all.

23rd October 2004 – Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday Mark STEWART! Happy birthday to you. Today was the trek to Perth for the birthday of the UDMV number 1 party person, Mark STEWART! Many were there Drew, McGoo, Carol, Lauren, Sharon (mum), Eilidh, Gillian , Lorraine and wee Nina. We all booked into the Travel lodge a decent clean hotel. Marks party was pretty cool I enjoyed it anyways thanks for the invite Mark, hope you had fun. After the party in the New Yorker Bar it was off to a club called the ice factory, nice club just didn't like the clientel much. Had a laugh though and the walk back to the taxi rank was AMAZING! A good night all round. Oh and Drew before I forget “She kicked me in the nuts, yeah in the nuts, right in the family jewels man!”

9th October 2004 – Second night of Proud Mary in Glasgow however before the second gig in tuts there was an acoustic set in Firewater to be heard met Bob and went along to that. We then went for a few beers. I offered Bob my ticket for tonights gig and he eventually accepted I didn't need the pass having the AAA laminate I was able to just walk right through (Woo, Hoo! and cheers again Greg). Another good gig this time and I liked it ‘cause there was much more space to move around not like the usual Mary gigs in tuts. After the gig it was off to the garage I was only there for a short time and left to leave the band to there own devices. See ya next time guys. Thanks again!

8th October 2004 – It's now the turn of Proud Mary to return to Glasgow . The last time these guys were here I ended up meeting Greg the lead singer and his mates who are really cool guys from London, Ralph, Miller and the other 2. So this time round Greg recognised me and the Ralph appeared in too Greg ended up givin' me a backstage laminate (as he did the last time). He's a really cool and genuine guy. So I hung around with the Proud Mary guys ended up bumping into an old mate Pool. Good to see him again. We all ended up in the garage (me, Pool, Proud Mary and many others) had a good laugh and never got home till 5:30 in the morning. A wild and amazing night. Thanks Greg!

2nd October 2004 – Another gig. Jesus this part of the year is gonna be busy and cost a lotta money. Juliet Turner returned to Glasgow, Drew and Emma came along to the gig this time, hope they enjoyed it. Juliet was good and the support act KT Tunstall totally blew me away KT you've got a new fan here, Emma and Drew thought the same, Wow this girl knows how to rock! The gig was good said my hellos to Juliet ay the end and the left.

22nd September 2004 – C'mon ya big Jesse. Tonight it was the return of Jesse Malin to Glasgow , he was originally booked to play the Garage however after poor ticket sales the gig was moved to the G2 what a shit venue that is for music. Myself, Bob and Big John O'Donnell attended and although the venue was shit Jesse still rocked. This was also one of strangest concerts I've been to with Jesse and the whole crowd staging a sit down protest at George Bush (I think). I can't remember exactly what his rant was all about. Wow a geat gig however I think he should play a different venue and not King tuts, tuts is too small for him maybe the QMU.

18th September 2004 - P.A.R.T.Y. Why? because I love to mister. The party I'm talkin' about was Laurens 21st birthday party, happy birthday Lauren. the night started for me at 8ish in Bar Budda (earlier for some others) then after a few drinks in Budda it was on the garage god this was a special night even Drew came to the garage and as far as I'm aware everyone had fun. Hope Lauren enjoyed it as much as I did. Can't wait till the next group event, is it Marks party or Heathers flat warming? Who knows?

9th Septmeber 2004 -
Vague ( ) Space at the Soundhaus, Woo Hoo, Although I got lost on my way there Vague ( ) Space are getting better everytime I see them. Yes, I know they fucked up on "Lament to Odin" but Emma did well very nice vocals and is it just me or is Martin gettin pretty good at the whole performing in front of a crowd thing? He really seemed to be getting a buzz out of being up on that stage.

4th September 2004 - Hey, hey guess what I did today? Don't wanna know? Well I'll tell you anyways. Today Drew, Miriam, Emma, Lauren and my fine self all went on a random daytrip arranged by Drew (should random and arranged be in the one sentence?). Where did we go? we en to the lovely Largs. Where we had ice cream at Nardini's, met David the acoholic dissable and then had a few drinks in a local pub for local people where Emma had one of the stranges drinks ever "Miller and Blackcurrant" not only did I think it was strange, but I bet the barman is never asked for it again.

28th August 2004 - Today or tonight should I say I met Drew and some other vague ( ) space members for a few beers, Mark Stewart came too and we were also graced by the presence of Miriam "Mimra" Anderson. Tonight was good night, 'cause it was just so much fun.

7th August 2004 - It's my birthday and I don't give a fuck 'cause it's my birthday. If you haven't guessed already then just to let you know it's my birthday today. I'm now at the grand old age of 33 nah just kiddin' I'm only 24. Today was a great day I went to Ayr with Drew and McGoo (thanks for comin man). I acted like a total 'tard which was so much fun. Had ice cream on my face, annoyed some jellies and probably some people too. I then (stupidly) decided to run into the sea and get soaked. Also broke my phone. What an ass piece I am, I should think before I do stupid things oh well. I should also mention that I went for something to eat with Drew, some time during the week as a kinda birthday thing, Martin from Vague ( ) Space came too. How cool is that?????

28th July 2004 - As predicted, I haven't updated in ages so what have I been up to since the I here you ask? (or maybe I don't) but I'll tell you anyways. Well I've been workin' and the last thing I wanna do when I get home is sit here and type stuff. Was out on Saturday night for Julies birthday HAPPY BIRTHDAY JUJU, I wasn't too keen on a night out but I enjoyed it met a quite few people I knew said hello then went to boogie. Nearly lost McGoo and left him stranded in Glasgow. On another note I think I should mention that I need to see Drew (Man I've still got your CD and DVD) You know you'll get it back in tip top condition but I just aint seen ya. Trying to think of other interesting thing but can't relly think of any. Maybe I'll type them another day. YEAH RIGHT!

26th June 2004 -
Today that c**t Konrad woke me up at 10 am with text or txt message, so I then txt Julie and Martin, to see what their pans were. They were going to clydebank with wee Erin and Julie's cousin Laura, I tagged along bought some cupcakes and never really did much but I had fun anyways. Later on tonight we went to the china king buffett I was stuffed and so came straight home for a lie down, so I didn't barf. No barf and I had a good day but I bet no one reading this is in the least bit interested. Oh today I also got DVD's from an internet friend. Lookin' forward to watching them. Thanks Jegsy. On the subject of DVD's can I recommend "Unfaithful" with Richard Gere, Diane Lane is amazing in it.

25th June 2004 - Now way back on the 8th I was gonna update this site, I did but never took into account designing round the geocities pop-up boxes and they ruined the design. Well now I've got a design that I'm happy with, although right now I'm thinking if your monitor is set to a high resolution you're gonna want a middle roller/scroll button on your mouse.
