Irrational

irrational love,
irrational emotion,
and for what reason?
logic left a while ago
and now, behold:
the manifestation of my dissatisfaction
more or less the sum of its parts
more than I can handle
less than I desire
just enough to drive me crazy
I look at him
and see more than a face
see within his soul,
his being
he looks at me
I hope he sees the same
hope he sees me
more than just a face
more than just a name
