General Membership Meeting

Friday September 2, 2005

Election of officers for the 2006 season will be held at the September 2, 2005 general membership meeting. The nominating committee has presented the following slate for consideration:

For President:    Bill Billingsley

For Vice-President:    Larry Ruhlman

For Treasurer:     Becky Ruhlman

For Secretary:    Heaven Mahle

For Board of Directors (2006-2007):    Sue Mauldin, Will Mahle, and Sam Haley

Nominations will also be accepted from the floor.

Tickets now on sale for the 2005 quilt!!

Our biggest fund-raiser of the year is about to end! We are giving away another beautiful quilt this year and the winner will also receive a pillowcase signed by all the 2005 Huntsville Stars.

Time is running out, the quilt be given away during the game on September 3, 2005.

See a Booster Club officer to buy your tickets or to pick up some tickets to sell. All members need to pitch in and sell some tickets!

The Booster Club provided the players with a tailgate breakfast before they boarded the bus for their trip to Birmingham on Thursday August 11.

The 2005 End-of-Season party was held on Sunday August 28 under the tent at the Joe. A great time was had by all. The club's annual awards, the Rocky and the Eagle, were presented. The awards, as voted by the membership, went to Jeff Winchester and Dennis Sarfate. Congratulations to Jeff and Dennis and 'THANKS' to Don Money, Rich Sauveur, Sandy Guererro, and all the players who made up the 2005 Huntsville Stars!
