Starscream's Shrine's chat uses a java applet to connect to the #enuex channel on IRC Dal.Net (the #enuex channel is used both for this site and my other site at enuex.com. This will result in a IE or Netscape popping-up a permission box, so say 'yes' to this.
Each server will connect you to the same enuex channel, with the same people, so if one doesn't seem to connect you just try another. For hints see below the applet.
I ( using the nicknames 'enuex' or 'Hey_Johnny_Park' ) am on usually in the evening (GMT time), but there's always some people on ( I would like to think :D ) anyway.
Hints
- People with @'s before their nicknames are operators. These are people chosen by me (and myself included) to keep order in the channel. They have the authority to kick and ban users from the channel as well as many other things, such as topic changes.
- Sometimes you may have chosen a nickname which has been registered by somebody else. You will then be asked to change your nickname: use the command " /nick *nickname* " (without reproducing the "'s or the *'s and replacing the word 'nickname' with your new nick), e.g. /nick starscream-lover
- People who have a + before their nickname have been voiced by the operators. This signifies that they are considered to be of higher status than regular visitors, and although they cannot kick or ban people, they can participate in operator conversations (normal talk in the channel which cannot be seen by normal visitors, and only operators and voiced visitors can talk in them).
