Welcome to the home of the U.S.S. Spartan. This Nova-class vessel was comissioned to police the galaxy in hopes of keeping peace and trade routes open in the territories of the Federation and its allies. The Spartan is a ship with a single purpose: Keeping the galaxy free of crime and hunting down those who choose to break the law. 1.3.03: It sure seems like things are taking off at a pretty steady pace, though
we've been a little hard on a couple of NPC ensigns already. It's quite possible they are
going to recover though. As you can see, the website has gone through a bit of a re-design
already, as we're striving to give everything a nice, crisp look. Hope you like it. 1.1.03: And has cometh a new year. We on the Spartan are very happy with all that 2003 has already given us, including a nice start from all the writers currently with us. We have started the posts approximately two weeks before the scheduled launch of the new ship, and there is still tons of time for anyone interested in writing for us to get a good look at our styles as well as plenty of time to join! M. Shayne Patrick, the writer of Captain Esori, had a supportive message for his whole crew: This has been, without exception, the MOST gratifying series of posts I have ever hosted on one of my ships! I am proud to have you guys on my ship and I wanted to tell you that it's a pleasure to be "serving" with you aboard the SIM. Thanks! Shayne And Suzi Ferriola, who writes XO Lt. Commander Carla Yanos, agreed with the captain's words: I must echo Shayne's words. I have thoroughly enjoyed -=every=- post. Keep up the good work, and I expect things to really cook as we all settle in amidst one another.Suzi GROUP MODERATORS ANNOUNCED: M. All website content inquiries should still be directed to the Webmaster. 12.31.02: Happy New Year's Eve everyone. We are currently looking for crew in the following positions: Chief Medical Officer Chief Engineer Chief Helmsman Chief Science Officer Hazard Team Members Advocate officers Criminal Psychologist Crime Scene Investigators Crime Lab Officers Helms' Second Sciences' Second Fighter Pilots (4) Squad Leaders (3) Chief Nurse Chief Medic Chef/Morale Officer Engineer's Second Tactical Second Security Second If anyone is interested in applying for one of the above positions, or has an idea for a position that would fit well on this ship, just drop us a line by emailing Sam Eggleston or M. Shayne Patrick with USS Spartan Position as the subject. Hope to see some new writers soon, so don't be afraid to email us or use the provided application link. NEWS YOU CAN USE: This RPG is based on free-form character writing with emphasis on plot and character development. On this ship, no one gets left behind if they don't want to be. Simple questions to the senior members of the crew should find writers with plenty of answers and help if they so need it in order to feel comfortable writing with the Spartan and her crew. We encourage joint-posts with one another, as well as deep and involved posts to help advance the structure of characters and their lives in and outside of Starfleet.
Thanks a ton to Andrew J. Hodges and his gang for their sweet pictures! Site created and maintained by Sam Eggleston using Microsoft FrontPage. Comments can be directed to: |
