Starship Creator Warp 2
I refuse to buy this game, since their previous effort was a complete and utter waste of time, money and space.
Second in the Starship Creator series, players can design a Federation or Klingon starship then send it on a mission or test it against another player over the Internet. The starship can also be exported and used in the upcoming strategy game Star Trek DS9: Dominion Wars. Release expected Spring 2000.
Announced: Starship Creator: Warp 2
Starship Creator: Warp 2, the second Star Trek-licensed shipbuilding game from Simon & Schuster Interactive, was officially announced this morning. We told you about Warp 2 a few weeks ago and explained the title's Tamagotchi-like gameplay that lets players build, customize, and equip their own Federation and Klingon starships to do battle against AI or human players, and today, we got the first screenshots of the game.
Warp 2 will retail for US$29.95 when it ships for the PC and Mac this April, and it will even come with a feature that'll let you download missions to your Palm Pilot for some Star Trek action on the go.
